After graduation in 2001, I went to Belmont University on a softball scholarship where I played for 4 years. I got my Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and graduated in December 2005. After graduation, I worked at Belmont as the assistant softball coach for the 2005-2006 season. I moved out of state for a couple of years where I worked at LeBonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis on a critical care step-down unit for infants, I coached high school softball, and started work on my Master's in Nursing Education. During that time, I also became a foster parent to a 16-year-old who will now be 20 in October! After graduating high school, he moved to Texas to start working and will start college in the fall. He is still a very big part of both mine and my family's life...
In December 2009, I reconnected with an 'old friend' on Facebook of all places - Kyle Binkley (class of 2000). We started dating and were engaged August 2010. We were married April 22, 2011, in a small ceremony (with 18 guests) on the beach in Destin, FL. Our date was very special because it would've been my grandparents' 60th anniversary and Kyle's dad officiated our wedding. I moved back to Greenbrier in June 2010 and started working at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital where I am on an infant, toddler, and school-age children's unit. Kyle is a project manager for Hollingsworth Oil Company in Springfield. We live in White House now with our 2 girls, our weimaraners, Kami and Kasi. We attend church in Madison where we are members of Madison Church of Christ
